Surface Contamination Swab Assembly Machine.

This machine automatically assembles six separate components at a rate of 60 per minute.  The machine is based around a rotary indexing table holding 32 product nests.   Using 14 operational stations, components are loaded from four bowl feeders and liquid from a peristaltic pump.

Sub-assemblies pass through additional press fitting stations and optical measuring stations before being delivered via a chute to a collection bin.  The Human Machine Interface (HMI) allows the operator to monitor process data such as assembly rate, current assemblies produced, total assemblies produced, rejected assemblies etc.

• Loading Components can be automatically sorted and delivered via hoppers, vibratory bowl feeders, centrifugal feeders, step feeders, linear feeders or by manual loading.

• Inspection  We are able to provide various levels of inspection such as using video, weigh scale, pressure decay, LVDT measuring, electrical continuity etc.

• Collation  We can provide automated carton delivery conveyors or diverter chutes which can fill one of two boxes or bags alternately.

• Post processing The finished components can be bagged singularly or in multiples, placed in cartons or passed on to a labelling or ink jet printing line.
